Gaspard has volunteered in various political campaigns to help progressive teams for children and families get elected to office, such as the Hon. Mayor Tisdahl, former Hon. Ald.  Judge Jean-Baptiste, Chicago Ald. Joe Moore, and the Hon. Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky whom he  introduced to the Haitian community, leading to the Congresswoman becoming one of the best friends Haiti can count on in Washington.

He has also participated in hundreds of community meetings and other community events and has played a very active role in working with his neighbors to make Evanston a better place to live, work, and play.

Through his radio programs, Gaspard has introduced many philanthropists and dignitaries to Haiti, like
